Ultima Thule was designed by Tapio Wirkkala and introduced in 1968. The Ultima Thule design was inspired by the look of melting ice, so common in the Finnish winter environment. The bowl measures a little over 7 in diameter at its widest, 5 3 4 across its top opening and has a height of 4 1 4. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. This
